How do I know what my watch needs?
Every watch that comes in receives a written condition note at no charge before any work is agreed. This covers what's found during the initial inspection and what's being proposed. You decide whether to proceed.
How long does a service typically take?
An Everyday Service usually takes between five and ten working days. A Surface & Seal Refresh may run two to three weeks. A Legacy Overhaul, depending on parts sourcing and the watch's condition, is discussed individually before work begins — staged updates are provided throughout.
Are the quoted prices final?
Prices shown are starting points for each service tier. If anything unexpected is found during inspection, you'll be informed before any additional work is carried out. Nothing proceeds without your agreement.
Do you work on both mechanical and quartz watches?
Yes. The Everyday Service covers both mechanical and quartz movements. The Surface & Seal Refresh and Legacy Overhaul are primarily suited to mechanical and older timepieces, though we're happy to discuss any watch on a case-by-case basis.
Can I send my watch by post from outside Chiang Mai?
Postal arrangements can be discussed before sending. Please contact the workshop first so we can advise on appropriate packaging and handling. We do not take responsibility for watches damaged in transit unless the shipping method was agreed in advance.
Is there a charge for the initial assessment?
The initial condition note is provided at no cost. If you decide not to proceed after the assessment, the watch is returned to you without charge.
